Celebrating over 25 years of dance in the Vacaville CommunityThe Vacaville Ballet Company is thrilled to announce the opening of the Vacaville Ballet Company School! VBC’s 25+ year history included a school from 1995-2006, then shifted focus entirely on annual productions. It has always been the mission of VBC to promote the arts in our community, and now we will be able to do that once again through our own studio space, located in Alamo Plaza. The VBC School has been established to teach ballet and related dance disciplines in professional programs for both children and adults, creating an inclusive environment to welcome all who are interested in developing their love of ballet. Through our school, we aim to create a space that nurtures creativity and trains dancers safely to avoid injury. Dancers at the school will have the opportunity to participate in our annual holiday presentation of The Nutcracker, returning to VPAT this year with a newly staged production. Our website will be updated with more information in the coming weeks as we embark on this new journey.

Interested in performing in a VBC Production?
Participation in The Nutcracker is optional for VBC School students. Students enrolled in the school will be prioritized for casting. Auditions for VBC School intermediate and advanced level students will be announced at the studio. Casting for pre-ballet and basic level students will be based on age and height.
Open auditions for dancers outside of the VBC School will be held if there are role openings. Open audition calls will be announced here on our website and on our social media pages. Auditions will be held at the VBC studios. Participation in open auditions does not guarantee participation in the production.
